What type of brakes are best for mountain bike racing?
Disc breaks of course. There are many brands.
Shimano Deore M6000. Basic, but great at what it does.
I don’t mind Rim brakes at all, but for mountain bike racing Disc brakes may suit better, but not necessary
Have to disagree, Disc brakes are far better for me overall.
